When you are pregnant, it is important for you to have regular check-ups with a doctor. These check-ups are called antenatal (before birth) care or antenatal visits. During every antenatal visit, a comprehensive checkup is done, in which your weight, vitals and blood pressure are measured, and compared to the last visit’s parameters. Investigations, vaccinations, and per abdominal examinations are a part of every ante-natal. It is recommended to bring all your previous records when you visit the doctor.
